Aker Stadium Deep Into Its Busiest Autumn Ever
Aker Stadium is in the middle of the most demanding home schedule in its recent history, hosting top-flight football for both Molde FK and Molde W across a packed autumn calendar. With multiple Eliteserien and Toppserien fixtures still to come — plus a Norwegian Cup tie — the fjordside arena is set to remain at the heart of Norwegian football right through to December.
Norway's Busiest Shared Football Venue
Aker Stadium has firmly established itself as the most active shared football venue in Norway during the 2026 season. The 11,249-capacity arena in Molde has served as the permanent home base for both Molde FK in the Eliteserien and Molde W in the Toppserien, bringing top-flight football to the fjordside ground on an almost weekly basis throughout the autumn.
The sheer volume of fixtures hosted — covering two separate national top-flight competitions simultaneously — is unprecedented in the stadium's recent history, and the schedule shows no sign of easing off before the year is out.
What's Still to Come
For Molde W, the next home fixture arrives swiftly: Stabæk W visit on Sunday 4 October at 1:00 PM, offering supporters another top-flight women's match at the ground just days away.
Molde FK's remaining Eliteserien home programme is equally demanding, with Start, Fredrikstad, Bodø/Glimt, and Viking all still to visit Aker Stadium before the season concludes. A Norwegian Cup tie against Strømsgodset is also scheduled at the venue later in October, adding further knockout football to the calendar.
Tickets and Planning Ahead
With so many fixtures still to be played, supporters are encouraged to plan ahead. Tickets for all remaining home matches — across both the Eliteserien and Toppserien — are available through Molde FK's official ticketing platform.
For a stadium that has barely had a quiet weekend since the summer, the final months of 2026 promise to be the most intense chapter yet in what is shaping up to be a historic season on the Romsdalsfjord.
