Two home defeats in less than a week have left both Molde FK and Molde W regrouping, but Aker Stadium barely has time to catch its breath. Molde W face Vålerenga W at the fjordside arena this afternoon, kicking off yet another home matchday at Norway's busiest shared football venue.

Aker Stadium has had a bruising fortnight. On 13 September, Molde W fell 0-1 to Hønefoss in a Toppserien clash that saw the visitors lead from the first half, and six days later Molde FK were beaten 1-2 by Aalesund in a west-coast Eliteserien derby, trailing 0-2 at the break before pulling one back in the second half.
Two home defeats in quick succession have left both the men's and women's squads looking for a response — and the calendar is giving them precious little time to dwell on the results.
Vålerenga W Arrive Today
The next chapter gets under way this very afternoon. Molde W welcome Vålerenga W to Aker Stadium today, 26 September, with kick-off scheduled for 1:00 PM. The fixture is part of the Toppserien programme and gives the women's side an immediate opportunity to bounce back in front of their own supporters.
The match continues what has become a relentless home rota at the fjordside arena. With both Molde FK and Molde W using the 11,249-capacity venue as their permanent base throughout the 2026 season, there has been barely a weekend without live top-flight football on the banks of the Romsdalsfjord.

Aker Stadium has cemented its status as Norway's most active shared football venue in 2026. Hosting women's and men's fixtures in tight succession across the same autumn programme, the arena has staged a remarkable volume of top-flight football in a matter of weeks.
For Molde FK, four Eliteserien home matches remain after the Aalesund defeat — Start, Fredrikstad, Bodø/Glimt and a final-day clash with Viking on 6 December. On the women's side, Molde W host Stabæk W on 4 October, ensuring the stadium stays busy well into autumn.
