Molde FK & Sparebanken Møre Bring Dream Training to Aker Stadium
Molde FK and Sparebanken Møre are inviting girls' teams from across the region to a special training session at Aker Stadium, coached by players from the Molde W squad. The "Drømmetrening" initiative aims to inspire the next generation of female footballers on the very pitch where Norway's top-flight matches are played. The event is one of several community activities running alongside the stadium's packed autumn fixture calendar.
A Dream Evening on the Pitch
Molde FK and Sparebanken Møre are joining forces to offer young girls from across the region a once-in-a-lifetime football experience at Aker Stadium. The initiative, called "Drømmetrening" — or Dream Training — will see junior girls' teams from the area invited onto the hallowed turf for an evening training session led by players from the Molde W squad.
The event is one of several community-facing initiatives being run around the stadium's busy 2026 autumn programme, and underlines the club's commitment to growing the women's game at grassroots level in the Romsdal region.
Players as Coaches
With Molde W players stepping into coaching roles for the evening, the session offers young participants direct access to top-flight Toppserien professionals. For many of the girls involved, it will be their first time on the Aker Stadium pitch — an experience that organisers hope will serve as a lasting source of inspiration.
Sparebanken Møre's involvement reflects the ongoing partnership between the local financial institution and the club, which has previously included initiatives such as a free supporters' bus to away fixtures.
Community at the Heart of the Autumn Programme
The Dream Training event is part of a broader effort to make Aker Stadium a hub for the local community during what the club has described as its most intense home programme in recent memory. With both the men's and women's teams playing regularly at the 11,249-capacity ground throughout the autumn, the stadium has rarely stood empty on a weekend.
Next up at the arena on the footballing side, Molde W take on Stabæk W in a Toppserien fixture on 4 October at 1:00 PM — a match that will also be accompanied by a men's pre-season friendly against Kristiansund on the same day, making it a full double-header at the fjordside ground.
