Aker Stadion is hosting its most intense run of fixtures yet in 2026, staging top-flight men's and women's football in near-constant rotation. With Molde FK's Eliteserien programme running until December and Molde W's Toppserien calendar also in full swing, the fjordside arena is operating as one of Norway's premier shared football venues. The coming weeks bring further home matches for both sides.
Two Teams, One Ground, One Relentless Schedule
Aker Stadion is firmly established as one of Norway's most active shared football venues in 2026. The 11,249-capacity ground on the shores of the Moldefjord hosts top-flight fixtures for both Molde FK in the Eliteserien and Molde W in the Toppserien, often in close succession across the same week.
Molde W have used Aker Stadion as their permanent home base for every Toppserien fixture of the 2026 campaign, cementing the venue's dual-purpose identity and bringing a wider range of matchdays to supporters in the region.
September Puts the Venue Through Its Paces
The pattern was on full display this month. Molde W hosted Hønefoss W on 13 September before the men's side took to the same pitch just six days later to face Aalesund. The two matches in quick succession underline just how tightly the stadium's matchday operations are being managed during the autumn programme.
The venue's infrastructure — including a restaurant, café, ten kiosks and eight commentary booths — has been tested consistently throughout the season and continues to service a growing matchday audience for both squads.
More Home Action Still to Come
The busy run is far from over. Molde W host Vålerenga W on 26 September, followed by a further Toppserien fixture against Stabæk W on 4 October, both at Aker Stadion. On the men's side, the Eliteserien home programme extends all the way to 6 December, when Viking are the final visitors of the season.
