Six Home Games Left as Aker Stadion Eyes an Autumn Charge
Molde FK sit fourth in the Eliteserien table as August closes, with six home matches still to come at Aker Stadion — including a headline showdown against Bodø/Glimt in November. After a packed month of men's and women's football, the fjordside arena is ready for the season run-in.
Autumn Fixtures Line Up at the Fjordside Arena
With August drawing to a close, Aker Stadion is already looking ahead to a packed autumn schedule in the Eliteserien. Molde FK currently sit fourth in the table, with six home games remaining at the 11,249-capacity arena on the shores of the fjord.
The next home fixture sees KFUM visit on 6 September, followed by Aalesund on 19 September. October brings Start (18th) and Fredrikstad (25th) to Molde, before the season's biggest home occasion — the clash against Bodø/Glimt on 22 November — and a final home date against Viking on 6 December.
Packed August Sets the Tone
Aker Stadion has been in near-constant use throughout August 2026, hosting three fixtures across the men's and women's programmes. The men's Eliteserien meeting with Tromsø on 16 August served as the centrepiece, with away supporters confined to the designated section on the Istad tribune, and bottles and away colours banned from all other stands.
Just days later, on 22 August, the stadium turned its attention to the Toppserien as Molde W hosted LSK Kvinner W in Round 13 of the women's top flight. The fixture reinforced Aker Stadion's role as a genuine dual-purpose venue, used by both the men's and women's sides throughout the 2026 season.
A Venue Built for More Than Football
Beyond league football, Aker Stadion demonstrated its community value earlier in the summer when it hosted a Minnekamp — a memorial match — on 13 July, drawing the local community together in the days before the high-profile Eliteserien home game against SK Brann.
Equipped with a restaurant, café, ten kiosks and eight commentary boxes, the stadium's infrastructure supports the full range of events it now accommodates. Tickets for all upcoming home matches in the Eliteserien are available through the official Molde FK ticketing platform.
Eyes on the Top Four
With Molde sitting fourth in the Eliteserien standings, the autumn home programme at Aker Stadion carries real weight in the title race. The November home fixture against leaders Bodø/Glimt in particular is already being circled as a potential season-defining occasion by supporters.
Fans are encouraged to secure tickets early through the official Molde FK platform, as key fixtures are expected to attract strong demand at the fjordside arena.
