Stabæk W Seal 3-0 Win as Molde W Suffer Back-to-Back Home Defeats
Molde W were beaten 3-0 by Stabæk W at Aker Stadium on October 4, conceding twice before half-time in a commanding Toppserien victory for the visitors. The result follows an 0-4 home loss to Vålerenga W just eight days earlier, leaving Molde W with much to ponder on home soil.
Toppserien Woes Continue for Molde W
Molde W suffered a second consecutive home defeat at Aker Stadium on Sunday, going down 0-3 to Stabæk W in front of the fjordside faithful. The visitors were firmly in control from the first whistle, leading 2-0 at the break before adding a third after the interval.
The result extended a difficult run of form for Molde W at home, following the 0-4 defeat to Vålerenga W at the same ground just eight days earlier on 26 September.
A Tough Afternoon on the Romsdalsfjord
Stabæk W arrived in Molde in confident mood and delivered a polished Toppserien performance, punishing the hosts with two goals before half-time to take a commanding lead into the break.
The second half offered little relief for the home side, as Stabæk W added a third to seal a comprehensive 3-0 victory and leave Aker Stadium in silence at the final whistle.
Eyes Now Turn to October 18
With the women's side in the midst of a tough stretch, attention at Aker Stadium quickly shifts to the men's team. Molde FK host Start in an Eliteserien fixture on Sunday 18 October at 5:00 PM — a match supporters will be eager to attend.
Tickets for the Start fixture and all remaining home matches are available through Molde FK's official ticketing platform.
