Stabæk W Visit Aker as Molde W Seek to End Losing Run
Molde W were beaten 4-0 at home by Vålerenga W on 26 September, extending a difficult spell of home results at Aker Stadium. The side gets an immediate chance to bounce back when Stabæk W visit on Sunday 4 October at 1:00 PM. Supporters are encouraged to get behind the team as the Toppserien season heads into its decisive final weeks.
A Run That Demands a Response
Molde W's 4-0 home defeat to Vålerenga W on 26 September was a sharp reminder of how fine the margins are in Toppserien football. Vålerenga led 1-0 at half-time before pulling away in the second half, leaving Aker Stadium's faithful to reflect on a third difficult result in a short space of time.
The loss came hot on the heels of Molde FK's 1-2 Eliteserien defeat to Aalesund on 19 September — a night on which the men's side also found themselves behind at the break. Two home defeats in the space of a week is not the form Aker Stadium's supporters have come to expect.
Sunday Offers Immediate Redemption
Fortunately for Molde W, the wait for a chance to put things right is short. Stabæk W arrive at the fjordside arena this Sunday, 4 October, for a Toppserien fixture that kicks off at 1:00 PM — a perfect opportunity to restore confidence and momentum in front of a home crowd.
With the Toppserien season in its final stretch, every point matters, and Molde W will be keen to use home advantage to bank three crucial points against a Stabæk side that makes the trip to Molde from the Oslo region.
Fans Urged to Pack the Stands
The backing of the terraces could make a real difference on Sunday. Aker Stadium's supporter base has shown throughout the 2026 season that it can generate a compelling atmosphere, and with both the team and the stadium's autumn schedule demanding a response, a strong turnout would send exactly the right message.
Tickets for the Stabæk W fixture are available through Molde FK's official ticketing platform. Supporters are reminded that the away section is reserved for visiting fans. Kick-off is at 1:00 PM.
