August Brings a Trio of Home Dates to Aker Stadion
Aker Stadion faces a packed fixture schedule in August, with three home games lined up across both the Eliteserien and Toppserien. Molde FK host Sarpsborg 08 on 2 August and Tromsø on 16 August, while Molde W welcome LSK Kvinner W on 22 August. The busy month gives supporters plenty of reasons to visit the iconic fjordside ground.
A Packed August on the Cards at Aker Stadion
Following a bruising defeat to Brann, attention at Aker Stadion is already turning to what promises to be a demanding and exciting August. The fjordside arena is set to host three home fixtures within the space of just a few weeks, giving Molde FK's supporters plenty to look forward to as the Eliteserien season enters a crucial phase.
Sarpsborg 08 FF visit first, on 2 August at 17:00, before Tromsø make the trip north on 16 August. Both fixtures represent important opportunities for Molde to pick up points in their bid to climb from fifth place in the standings.
Women's Football Returns to the Fjord
Aker Stadion will also host Toppserien football in August, with Molde W welcoming LSK Kvinner W on 22 August at 14:00. It is the first home women's fixture at the stadium in some time, following away trips for the side in the preceding rounds.
The women's team have had a mixed campaign so far this season, drawing 3–3 with Haugesund W in their last home outing in June, and will be eager to secure a positive result in front of their home fans.
Aker Stadion's Role at the Heart of the Community
With a capacity of 11,249 and a location overlooking the Romsdal fjord, Aker Stadion is far more than a matchday venue. Opened in April 1998, the ground has hosted memorial matches, community events and top-flight football across both the men's and women's game throughout the 2026 season.
